Our Story
Triple Threat was founded by our CEO Nike Greene, MA LMFT, a Portland native. Established in April 2020, Triple Threat Mentoring is a program that offers one-on-one and group mentoring primarily to youth of color living in the Metro Portland area. Our program focuses on three areas: Attitude, Academics, and Athletics.
We offer leadership development, basketball instruction, life skills instruction, community responsibility, and parent advocacy and training to Middle School-12th grade participants. We are dedicated to the academic success and lifelong health of Portland’s underserved youth of color, supporting them in becoming well-rounded learners, exceptional athletes, and global citizens. We focus our participants on having a global vision while acting locally.
